This blog is to record events both for myself and to keep friends updated as I travel on my Suzuki V-strom 650cc motorbike clockwise around Europe starting in the UK and passing through Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Slovinia, Croatia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and then back into France and home again to the UK.
Journey is scheduled to start around late in July and end around early October and will cover an estimated 6000miles.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see that you're on the road and doing OK apart from the M25 incident. I had a similar fright on 'day one' of my journey when I came upon a deer stood in the middle of the road at 6 a.m. - I remember thinking "bollocks - I hope I don't hit the sodding thing and wreck the bike 10 miles from home" - that would have been embarrasing with 14000 miles still to do.
